Why am I doing these pop-up dance classes? Because dance isn’t just something I’ve done, it’s been one of the biggest parts of my life.
I grew up dancing, owned dance schools, ran an entertainment company, taught in schools, worked with people with disabilities through dance, spent years in musical theatre, met my husband through dance and now, all these years later, life has come full circle and we own GAPA.
For years my Eternal Living community has been saying, “When are you going to teach us?” so… I’ve finally given in. These nights aren’t about being the best dancer in the room, they’re about having fun, having a laugh, getting a sweat up and remembering how good it feels to move your body, no pressure, no judgement, just good music and good people. Dance gave me a career, it gave me confidence, it gave me lifelong friendships, it gave me my husband and it gave me a second home. If these pop-up classes can give someone even a small piece of what dance has given me over the years, they’ll be worth every second.
